Hello all,

I have my one-touch system working almost flawlessly.  I have one issue.  When I leave the office, after hours the systems apparently revert to sharing content from their attached computers.  The computers have an automatic restart after hours which is what I am assuming the VisualPro is detecting when it Shares Content.

Do I have the ability to prevent the Trio 8800/VisualPro from automatically sharing the content from my computer? I would like for the conference rooms to default to having no presentation active, so that the user always walks into a calendar view for the day's events (I already have that functionality working - I just need to prevent the computer content from automatically sharing).

Thank you!

Hello @dgs8535 ,

Welcome back to the Poly community.

Some or a couple of your old post(s) or reply(s) to them >here< are still open/pending as you have not marked these as "Accept as a solution".

If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know if an answer or advice provided was useful and has maybe helped you.

Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate?

If they are marked as "Accept as a solution" other users can find these easier and it helps them to utilize the community more efficiently.

For your new issue, it is always useful to provide the currently used software version so we have an understanding of what is being used in the field and an answer may depend on this.

I would suggest you try:

<change mr.localContent.autoDisplay.enable="0"/>

This setting will require that you manually start the Content on the Trio.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier

Steffen - I actually DID accept the answer you provided on the thread you linked as a solution: https://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP-SIP-Phones/Trio-8800-with-Visual-Pro-Show-all-events-from-the-...

"Go to Solution" - upper right hand corner of the screen.

Thanks for your suggestion about setting Content Sharing to manual only.  I will try it and accept the solution - as I did on my last posting - if the answer is a solution.

I'll also try to find old postings, to make sure that I haven't neglected any of your p's or q's on those postings, either.

Steffen, great news.  I had no old postings with solutions unmarked as such.  No need to lose sleep on account of my requests for help in this setting. I'll make sure to reply about the efficacy of the solution you proposed as soon as I can.

I'll also make sure to include the firmware information for the involved systems - I know how important that is to making sure we get the best information!

Steffen - I didn't find any other out standing threads with unaccepted solutions.  If you are seeing them, would you please let me know what they are? Many thanks.

I just accepted this thread as a solution.  Do you see it as accepted on your end?
