Hi.
For some time now Trio and VVX phones cannot be configured from Firefox browser.
After logging in, I can see only "background". Funny thing is that menus itself are right there (invisible), you can hover mouse over them and they show up, but there is no text (except for one entry - UC-One).
Firefox is pretty much a fresh install on a fresh PC. Version - 67.0.
It works OK only with Internet Explorer and Edge.
VVX firmware - 5.9.2.3446
Trio firmware - 5.9.0.10869
Regards
Lukasz

Hi everyone
Just wanted to post an update on this topic. Because of COVID and working from home, I've finally mustered some time and strength to try and do something more about this issue. So I was in the process of posting a bug on Mozilla bug report website, but then I though to try it once more 🙂
So I switched language im my Firefox back to my native and logged back to Trio. And how surprised I was, when I saw that everything works as it should. Just to be sure I've cleared browser cache related to my Trio, logged in again and it still worked. I have even tried, just in case, logging in private mode. Still worked.
I have no idea what fixed the issue, because recently both Firefox and Trio got upgraded to the latest versions.. Anyway, here are versions that worked for me:
- Firefox: 77.0.1
- Trio: 5.9.3.8724

Hello @LK_ENP ,
welcome to the Poly Community.
If you require Firefox support please open a Ticket so we can check this.
In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they need to do this for you.
End Customers are unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support.
If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.
If the unit is no longer within the warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
Steffen Baier

Hello @LK_ENP ,
to my own personal knowledge, I am not aware that we have an issue using Firefox.
If you can replicate this and you are interested getting this fixed please escalate this as already outlined. This is in your own and others best interest.

Just to update this topic.
After contacting Poly support, they diagnosed it to be browser-based issue (I'm not so sure about it, since problem is supposedly also in Chrome).
Anyway, I've found a workaround that works (at least in Firefox) - simply change browser language from your local language, to English. After this change, web interface is displayed correcly again.
