I have a Trio 8800 running 5.9.2.7553 and seems like after I added a provisioning server, I'm getting this repeated error "com.android.systemui has stopped".

I saw the referenced:  https://knowledgebase-iframe.polycom.com/kb/viewdocument.do?noCount=true&externalId=41070&sliceId=1&...

I removed the provisioning server...

I downgraded to 5.9.1.11135...

I re-upgraded to 5.9.2.7553...

neither step seems to resolve the issue.

I haven't heard back from Poly support... but can't wait any longer and needed to get this operational again.

First had to reset to factory default in a weird way...  doing the default [Admin Web > Utilities > Phone Backup and Restore > Global > Restore to Factory Default] would keep the provisioning server setting for some reason even after a restore.  So I saved a fake/incorrect provisioning server, then reset to factory.

After doing that, it actually reset to factory, and needed to manually program my SIP settings.

For some reason when using a Provisioning Server, with nothing out of the ordinary in the .cfg, the phone seems to throw the com.android.systemui has stopped error.  Leaving the Provisioning Server out works without errors.

Hello @acelis ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

We would need to get this into support.

In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support. Available End User Poly services offerings are detailed here

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.

If the unit is no longer within the warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
