The following configuration doesn't seem to work for me. TLS certificate is not installed, no errors in the phone logs that I can see.

I can go into the web interface and load it via URL just fine, but not over config. Is this a known issue?

Hello miken32,

welcome back o the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

Stating the above it would also be interesting to know what model of phone is being utilized.

 

I am aware of a current ticket on the VVX phones so if this issue is on a VVX phone and a current software you may want to raise a support ticket via your Polycom reseller and reference VESC-4936.

I just did a quick test via the <MAC>.cfg file to load a certificate and it works fine.

 

I suggest you double check that your XML file is correctly formatted (use XML notepad 2007 to open it) and if this does not show any issues work with your Polycom reseller to bring this to our attention.

Got it sorted. My XML formatter was indenting the certificate details; phone didn't like the whitespace at the beginning of the line.
