If you look towards the bottom of this page:

http://downloads.polycom.com/voice/voip/sip_sw_releases_matrix.html

it says the following:

Yes - This platform was supported on the release
No - This platform was supported on the release
Beta - This release was available for Beta test purposes only; Beta releases are not supported beyond the Beta trial period.

so what's the difference between YES or NO?

And when it means the platform was or wasn't supported (as I'm assuming that's what you mean), does that mean that no features were added in that release, or it's really not supported on that phone?

Hello mike,

As an example the SoundPoint 301 does not support any software higher than SIP 3.1.8

Therefore a NO is added to all releases afterwards.

Look more closely at the description for yes and no 🙂

That being said, I was able to get the latest software installed on my RMAed IP 7000 and it's working great.

Thanks!

Mike

Hello mike,

Still not understanding what you mean.

Did the IP7000 ever support 4.1.0 or 4.1.1 as they are for LYNC only?

No it did not support these

The description is exactly the same...

Hello mike,

the verbiage aside this has been on there for uncountable years.

No simply means this software is not supported.

I was just trying to be helpful and let you know that the verbiage was incorrect in case you'd like to fix it.

Thanks!

Mike
