UC 3.3.2. In 3.2 and earlier Admin guides it told to add this to sip.cfg to program Line2 key to be the Messages key:
key.IP_330.10.function.prim = “Messages”
This gives an error when read by the phone when it is in features.cfg
<key key.1.function.prim="" key.1.subPoint.prim="" key.2.function.prim="" key.2.subPoint.prim=""
key.IP_330.10.function.prim="Messages">
</key>
Any ideas? I found the section in the 3.3.2 Admin guide that does not tell what keys are numbered, but it does have "messages" as a value that can be used.
thanks
John

John,
using the Forum Search you would have found => this <= post here.
Using the FAQ you you would have found => this <= post here.
In Addition there is no UCS 3.3.2 Admin Guide, there is only a UCS 3.3.0 Admin Guide => here <=
From the Admin Guide Page A - 64:
key.x.y.function.prim
X = SPIP335
Y = 10
Page C - 11 shows the Phone and it's default Buttons
Best Regards

OK thank you very much for showing me where in the 3.3.0 Admin guide it was located. I had originally performed a Find operation and it skipped over the SPIP table. I was unaware of the button layout in C-11. I was not able to see any help in the two links you priveded for search and FAQ though.
THANKS AGAIN!
John

John,
please mark the post as a accepted solution so if other users do find this Post via the Search Function they are aware that this will help them as well.
Searched Post Link highlight's the <key key.SSIP650.9.function.prim="Null" />
It shows you that your IP_ is wrong as it is a pre UCS Setting
FAQ Post Link highlight's the key.SPIP650.9.function.prim
It shows you that your IP_ is wrong as it is a pre UCS Setting
Please be aware that the Polycom Community is not a replacement for the Polycom Support Organization and your first point of contact should always be your Polycom Reseller.
