Hi, I noticed today the maintenance release of v3.3.2 UC SIP firmware for the Polycom IPx line.  That's great news and bugfixes are always welcome!  My question is, when is the UC 4.x series going to be available for this line (or is that even planned) -- because I noticed that it has been available for the VXX-series for some time now.

According to http://www.polycom.com/global/documents/whitepapers/uc-software-provisioning-best-practices-whitepap... the GA release for the entire product line is scheduled for "Mid-2011" so -- any day now?  :generic:

best,

Luke

Hello Luke,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

As explained => here <= we cannot give exact dates for new Releases or follow up Releases.

Currently the new UCS 4.0.0 has only been released in North America for the new Polycom Spectralink 8400 Series Handsets.

Please check there to familiarize yourself with the SDK or the Release Notes and the new UCS 4.0.0 Admin Guide.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
