We get an "Unable to claim desk phone" message when we try to add either of two used VVX150 phones (for a Google voice account) in Google Adm.   I performed a factory reset on both of the phones, following the instructions at this URL, but I still get the "Unable to claim desk phone" message when I try to add either of the phones in Google Adm.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I do not know who the previous owner was, nor whether the previous owner deprovisioned the phones properly.  If the previous owner failed to deprovision the phones correctly, would that prevent me from installing the phones for a Google Voice account?

Here's all the info I have for both phones:

Model# = VVX150
MAC_address = 64167F7F51D1
Ser.No = MAC address
OBi# = 728344017
SoftwareVer = 6.3.1.1
HdweVer = 1.0
CustomizationStatus = Voxtell

Hello @Marceepoo ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

We cannot tell you who the previous provider was so I suggest you contact whoever you got these phones from and ask them to remove them. Once this is done you can set these up.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
