Hello,

Our users are not able to quickly re-dial calls that appear in the recieved calls menu on the Polycom IP331. The problem appears to be that these numbers are listed as xxxx-xxxx, but for us to make a call we need to dial 9xxxx-xxxx

I have spoken to our provider and they tell me this is a problem for all their customers (and the provider themselves), but they don't offer any way of fixing it, so I wondered if this might be something that can be fixed via a firmware update or similar.

Has anyone else had this problem? It's not a big deal, but rather a small frustration as we need to write down the number in the received call list and then manually key it in to call it back rather than just hitting dial as it should work.

Thanks

Mitchell

Hello Mitchell,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I can recommend to check out the below article that is listed in our FAQ:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Phone unable to Dial a number when Off Hook or on 2nd Call in a Conference

ResolutionPlease check => here <=

Above explains how to utilize the digitmap.

You could add a functionality for any numbers in that range to automatically have the digit 9 added. This would stop you from having to manually dial it and should also be applicable to your missed / received call list.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
