We're testing ucs 4.1 on our ip450 phones, using the Lync base profile, and it seems to fix a lot of bugs with lync integration. One thing we cant get right is "play on phone" voicemail from outlook / exchange online. Dialling the user's sip address rings the phone, but the call cannot be accepted, and even rejecting the call keeps the outlook dialog box in the state "connecting...". Pressing "hang up" in the outlook dialog ends the call, and then the user is briefly logged out of the ip450 (about 5 seconds).

 

Listening on the phone with a CX600 works fine (same vlan/options)

 

Has anyone had any experience of this or have any tips?

what Version of Exchange is being used?

 

2007 or 2010

I am not 100% sure if a online exchange is even supported.

 

I suggest you work with your reseller to raise a ticket with Polycom support.

 

They will require the following log levels:

 

log.level.change.sip="0" log.level.change.ice="0" log.level.change.afe="0"

It could be caused by using a legacy Version of ICE as Polycom UCS only support ICE version 19
