Re: Unalbe to add third particpant on 8800 polycom Trio phone

Hello @Sudheer,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include if you are using a SIP server or a LYNC / Skype for Business server.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

In addition you are not running a currently supported software. This would be at time of writing this reply UC Software 5.5.4

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Re: Unalbe to add third particpant on 8800 polycom Trio phone

Hi Stephen & Team,

Currently we are using

  5.4.5.9658

And we are using as SIP Server.

Issue:Two particpants can join a call on this polycom Trio phone-8800 and when trying to call the  third participant call is getting disconnected(Busy Out Tone).

If you are advising me to upgrade the polycom software to newer version we will do it.

Can you guide us where to download the software and how to upload it.

Before that I had seen in some where we need to enabled

feature.nWayConference as 1.

First Can we cross check whetther this feature was enable ot not.

Thanks,

Sudheer

Re: Unalbe to add third particpant on 8800 polycom Trio phone

Hi Stefen & Team,

We have upgraded our Polycom(TRI 8800) phone to 5.5.4.2255.

Still we are unable to make conference call from the Polycom phone TRIO 8800.

Is there any Limitation when it was integrated with Cisco Call Manager.

Please Provide us Suggestion and how to resolve the issue.

THanks,

Sudheer

Re: Unalbe to add third particpant on 8800 polycom Trio phone

Hello @Sudheer,

you still have not posted any logs or applied the suggested FAQ post.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Jan 19, 2012 Question: How to troubleshoot Polycom VoIP related Issues?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Please ensure you always check the community FAQ and/or utilize the community search before posting any new topics or follow up post’s.

The community needs at least some kind of data when you ask us to help you. Without this we cannot help and you would need to open a support ticket.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

End Customers are unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
