We have a VVX 500 setup with 12 extension (Line 1 through 12) all as shared call apperances. What string do we have to put in the VVX to select the next available line is someone is on a line. For example all the phones default to line 1 if you pick up the headset. If someone is already on line 1 how does the phone get line 2 instead. On the phone it shows someone is on line 1, so it should know to grab line 2.

Hello KL,

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Jan 22, 2014 Question: How can I prevent the phone from automatically accessing a line when the Handset is lifted?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

In addition you may want to look at the call.stickyAutoLineSeize and call.stickyAutoLineSeize.onHookDialing parameters.

Above functionality is described in detail in the Admin Guide matching your currently used software version.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
