Use a computer calling kit on a Laptop with only one port for mic and speaker
I have used a computer calling kit with Soundstation 2 Ex previously with a desktop computer and it was really good and easy because the desktop had separate ports for mic and speakers. However I now am trying to use a computer calling Kit with a new HP Laptop which has only one port that combines the functions of a mic and speaker.
The question is how do I connect the red and green ends of the cable to the computer or do I need an entirely different cable?

welcome to the Polycom Community.
You may want to look at the mobile phone cable we offer as this combines the Microphone and Speaker part into one plug.
