Polycom Community,

This may have been asked and answered already. I am currently monitoring remote lines as BLF. I am getting the following fields:

To: sip:200@yourdomain.com

From: "Is Blank"

I would like it to show something like:

To: 200(Bill Smith)

From: 250(Joan Smith)

Currently trying on VVX 400, VVX 500, and SoundPoint IP 650. The VVX phones are running 5.2.0 and 650 is running 4.0.7 I am also attaching some of the config file. Also running on Asterisk platform 1.8

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Shamrock,

The XML messages from a Asterisk Server simply do not contain this Information in order to work with our BLF implementation.

This can also be seen in the VoIP FAQ post  => here <=

I am quite sure it could be archived but would require the Source Code of Asterisk to be changed.

I suggest you work with a Polycom Sales engineer to get the required XML structure our phone would expect.

Hello Shamrock,

I spoke to our developers who actually worked on this originally and simply adding notifycid=yes to the SIP.CONF fixes this issue.

I updated the BLF FAQ post.
