IT unit purchased SoundStation IP5000 for my office.  We do not have digital phone service.  Can this unit still be used for phone conferencing through analog line?  Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

welcome to the Polycom Community/

 

The SSIP5000 is a IP Conference Phone and needs an Ethernet provided SIP Service.

 

You may be able to purchase a 3rd Party analog to SIP converter but your IT Department would need to look into this.

 

If you can exchange the Unit I would suggest to purchase a SoundStation Duo as this offers both analog and a IP connectivity for future protection of your investment.
