VOIP-98581 6 second delay for hold and transfer

Hi guys,

 

Wondering if anyone has discovered an alternative work around for issue VOIP-98581 as outlined in:

"when an incoming acll is answered in a Lync Mediation Server 2010 environment, it takes six seconds for the Transfer and Hold soft keys to display on VVX400 and VVX600 phones"

 

At this stage the suggested work around of enabling media bypass on the Lync mediation server and media gateway is not something we can do.

 

Alternatively if there is any indication on when there will be a fix for this.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Looking at our internal notes the delay is caused by the mediation server. The REINVITE is only send after 5 seconds so we do not display the Softkeys during that period.

 

I can only advise to work with Microsoft on this.
