Hi there, We have dozens of Poly 6000 and 5000 phones in our VOIP infrastructure that has just been rolled out.  We run Ayava 9608 phones, and we have a boardroom displayed on the Avaya phone and want to call a number, put it on hold on the displayed number of the Poly, and then from the Poly pick up that call that has been placed and on hold.   We can't get it to work.  Is it possible.  We do it with our phones no problem, but when we add the Poly we always get a dial tone when we pick up the line on the Poly and not the call we have on hold on it's number from our Avaya phones...  Can this be done?  We could do this through Centrex Poly's but can't do it through VOIP, just wondering if there's a setting on the Poly that needs to be set?

Any help or insight appreciated..

Hello costanza,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Avaya would have done the interoperability testing in order to verify that our phones are compatible with the Avaya PABX you are using.

Usually you would "park" a call and then dial a Park Code on the SSIP Phones in order to pick up this call.

You will need to contact Avaya Support to find out how a third Party device on their PABX can do this.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
