Hi,

I have VVX 1500 & SP IP 331 phones running on UC Software Version: 4.1.0.84959 and integrated with Lync Server. While receiving Lync calls and once the call gets established, the phone displays the SIP address of the far end user rather than the far end user's name (if he is in the contact list). Is it possible to change this setting?

Also, in case of internal PSTN calling, when the phones are integrated with a Lync server, is there a way to have the phones display the extension of the users calling along with his name. At present, only the caller's name is shown while receiving calls and also in the call history.

Awaiting your reply and also thank you in advance for the solution.

Hello Siriam,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I would suggest to try to use the:

feature.urlDialing.enabled="0"

Parameter. This will remove the suffix to my knowledge.

For any other questions I believe this is something that may be added to future releases but is not currently implemented. I cannot provide any more details on this at present.

In addition please be aware of the following when utilizing UCS 4.1.0 or later:

The use of Polycom UC Software versions 4.1.X (“Software”) requires the purchase of a separate Software license for every device that will use the Software in a Lync environment. You may not install, access, or use the Software in a Lync environment on more devices than are listed on your license until additional licenses have been purchased and authorized by Polycom. These licenses should be purchased from the same company from which you purchased the devices. You may operate devices against a Lync server for trial purposes for up to 30 days without purchasing a license. Use of the Software is subject to the terms and conditions of the End User License Agreement.

Polycom reserves the right to audit your deployment to verify that you have sufficient licenses to match the number of devices being used.
