Hi,

 

I have problem with VVX 1500. I installed VVX 1500 at Elastix PABX 1.6 and 2.3. At both system VVX 1500 can not send the video. Teh voice is ok, but when i pressed the vidoe button, i saw the video icon is disable. Anyone can help what is the cause?

Hello sisob,

I am not even sure if the Elastix is a supported SIP Platform for the VVX phone.

 

Easiest way to check if the platform even supports video is to get a spanned / mapped Port on the phone end and start a wireshark trace to see if you get any 263 / 264.

 

To confirm the phones are working try IP dialing them without being registered to the Platform.

 

Please also ensure that you always post the phones current software version.

Hello Steffen,

 

Elastix 2.3 platform is Asterisk 1.6/1.8.

Regarding the firmware on VVX1500 is 3.2.7.

If i call using URL from extension 7001@10.55.9.12 to 7000@10.55.9.10 it's works. The video both sides ok.

I will try the span/mirroing port to capture the traffic.

I forgot to inform you that if i use X-Lite/Eye Beam, the video has no problem. I can conduct video conference poitn to point.

this is a codec issue or lack thereof.

 

I would suggest to update the VVX's to at least UCS 4.0.3 Rev F and have another play and work with the Asterisk community in regards the videosupport.
