I am new to Polycom VOIP phones.

I have a VVX 201 that needs to be installed on Cisco CUCM.

Will it understand Voice VLAN on Cisco Switch, and secondly how to setup DHCP?

Hello progala,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

 

Please be aware that a Cisco CUCM is not an officially supported platform for the VVX phone.

The above explains in detail how the Polycom SoundStation IP Phones can be used with a CUCM. The Software on a VVX is similar so a registration will work.

 

The same limitations listed as in above document are applicable for any 3rd Party SIP device connected to a CUCM.
