Hello,
I'm using VVX-300 with release 5.0.1 and I need to set the LAN interface speed.
I have tried to put the following parameter in the config file but the phone seems no to take it and so, the speed doesn't change when we look at "network status" on the phone.
Is there any specific other parameter ?
I tried with :
<device.net device.net.etherModeLAN="3">
</device.net>
and also "100FD"
thanks
Frank

Hello Frank,
any device.x parameter requires that device.set="1" is set.
A good way to learn this is simply changing a setting via the Phone Gui or Web Interface and then exporting the config.

Hello Stephen,
I had applied parameters below on the phones and it worked well.
In boot log file, we can see "000009.826|so |3|01|Link status is Net up Speed 100 full Duplex, PC down."
Strangly, since a few days, we noticed that the phone changed the speed to HALF, without changing anything on our side, no change on phone configuration and no change on switch speed configuration.
when we look at boot log file, now we have :
000010.179|so |3|00|Link status is Net down, PC down.
000012.179|so |3|00|Link status is Net up Speed 100 half Duplex, PC down.
Do you know why we have this ? my speed parameter are still present on config file, so why speed is set to half ?
thanks
BR

Hello Frank,
the logs are from the very beginning of booting up the phone so the phone has not yet finished coming up yet.
I would suggest you monitor this and then raise a case with Polycom support via your Polycom reseller.

hello Steffen,
ok thanks, I will open a case to Polycom Support.
One last question, how could we see the final speed negotiated on the phone (remotely I mean) ? I didn't find any way except going on the phone menu (physically)
thanks
