VVX 300 phones and FTP provisioning server

Hi to all of you polycom users,

Can you tell me if setting up an FTP provisioning server as stated on the Polcom blogs will work with the VVX300 phones?

We want to download phone directories from one phone to another.   Our phones and service are provided by an outside vendor and we were not sure if the provisioning server is through them.  We have our own FTP site and followede the instructions but the phone did not find our FTp server. The phone deleted the data and on the display had a caution light and VVX300 displayed on the display and the phone went offline.

I did a factory reset but the phone did not point to our Ftp site.   Any suggestions?
