Hello I am having trouble with a VVX 410 running 5.4.0.5841 firmware. The MWI indicator will not clear despite the fact that both the users Inbox and Saved messages folders are empty. We have factory reset the phone with no effect. The phone insists that the user does have 2 unread messages. Any suggestions are appreciated. We cannot get a Wireshark from the LAN due to this being a remote site.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

 

First you are using an unsupported software from a Polycom perspective as the latest versions is UC Software 5.5.1 or UC Software 5.4.6

So I take it there's no known bugs here that can upgrade would help fix this issue? I cannot get a Wireshark as phones are remote and inaccesible from my current location.

Hello dthompson75023,

The FAQ explains how to use the phone logs instead of wireshark.

 

I am not aware of any issues but our Release Notes listing correct issues are publicly available.
