So I was trying to upgrade to the latest available firmware on one of my phones to test.  I am not sure if it failed or what but the end result is the phone showing the "Polycom" logo and rebooting.  It doesn't even attempt to boot or load anything.  

 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello elkosupertech,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Does the phone connect to an FTP server as shown in the FAQ ?

 

Any other messages you can see on the screen?

The version I tried was Polycom UC Software 5.6.0.

 

It doesn't appear to be trying to connecting to the FTP server.  Bascially when I power the phone up it shows the Polycom logo, blinks, goes black and then repeats the cycle.

Hello elkosupertech,

are you sure you did not power off the phone during the upgrade as it sounds you need an RMA if the unit is still within warranty.

I'm absolutely sure.  Unfortunately these phones were purchased used so I'm pretty sure there would be no warranty.
