When we reprovision the sidecar, it overwrites the 12 keys on the main phone (lineKey.1, lineKey.2, ... lineKey.11, lineKey.12), even if we don't specify linekey 1-12.

Is there any way to reprovision the sidecars (lineKey.13, linekey.14...) without overwriting the main phone keys?

I guess my question is, if I don't send a linekey value, for example, linekey 15, will it overwrite what's there now if we change the lineKey  section in the configuration file?

With ztp provisioning it's not possible to do a pull from the phone, only a push. Maybe it's different with PDMS provisioning. That's my conclusion. Thanks.

Hello @40love ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Both the communities Must Read First and the FAQ reference the basic minimum information a new or follow-up post should contain.

This ensures the questions having to be asked are limited and any new or follow-up post contains the right amount of details to ensure any voluntary participant within the community does not spend additional time chasing basic information.

A good starting point is usually to provide at least the current software version and for the VVX x50 edition if this is UC software or Obi

Have you got some example configuration you are using?

Here's an example. If I push this, it will overwrite whatever is in the phone. I would like for it to not overwrite the keys that are already there. For example, if keys 3 and 4 are set, I don't want to overwrite them. Is this possible. Is there any way to do this?

Using the line keys requires to define each key as this does not work as a mix&match

Jan 12, 2012 Question: Can I change / re-assign the appearance of  Line, BLF, Speed Dial and Presence Keys?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above FAQ or the community search should answer all questions

I read the article, I tried definining the key as Unassigned, it still overwrote the value. Do you have a simple example on how to not overwrite the keys? So far I can't find a solution.

Hello @40love ,

Apart from the FAQ article, the community search should find plenty of results.

The fact is you cannot keep "keys" assigned already. If you use the functionality you need to assign each line key. You cannot leave out a line key aka 1,3,5 so you need to assign 1,2,3 but the position on the phone or expansion module can be selected.

Other volunteers can comment. If you still have unanswered questions please open a support ticket.
