Hi there

Is there a way of remapping the Intercom key provided in release 5.2.0 at all?

Basically I want to re-map the key to dial *50.

I have enabled the Intercom key with:

<feature.intercom.enable=1> and <softkey.feature.intercom=1>

but how do I remap the softkey for the intercom?

Cheers

Dave

Hello Dave,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

The key is as is and cannot be remapped. It dials the Number you enter and sends the additional ALERT-INFO string as defined.

You can pre-program the functionality using an EFK like:

<number>$Tintercom$

This is a T type macro enables you to specify a Direct intercom button that always calls the number you specify in <number>. No other input is necessary.

*50$Tintercom

Above would dial *50 and send the ALERT-INFO string as defined.

Hello Dave,

really anywhere you like or as an individual config file.

Page 149 of the UCS Admin Guide 5.2.0 covers how to Configure Intercom Calls.

In addition the community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Oct 25, 2011 Question: How can I change my Ringtone or Ring in a special manner for a certain incoming call?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The updated Post from the 15/10/2014 details how to do this and troubleshoot it in addition.

In order to ring a specific Person via a Softkey please check the EFK example 10 => here <=
