Switch is set for auto. Switch reporting:

2013.03.28 12:15:24 LLDP LLDP:  Speed Duplex mis-match on swx 0/4. Speed/Duplex: "100M/full-duplex"   Neighbor Speed/Duplex: "10M/full-duplex"

When I set it to 10M/Full-Duplex the switch says

2013.03.28 12:15:24 LLDP LLDP:  Speed Duplex mis-match on swx 0/4. Speed/Duplex: "10M/full-duplex"   Neighbor Speed/Duplex: "10M/half-duplex"

When I set it to 10M/Half-Duplex error goes away.

SW 4.1.2
Is there a setting in the config file for the phone that is setting the phone to 10M/Half-Duplex

Hello apu_cjohnson,

you can utilize device.set parameters to change the factory default of Auto on any of the Polycom phones. If nobody has set this via a configuration then it must be something the switch does not like or vise versa.

The VVX500 would be Gigabit so maybe the switch does not like this.

In order to follow this up in more detail a ticket would need to be raised via your Polycom reseller.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
