Hello Everyone

VVX500. Version 5.3, Just wondering if I am understanding Lync contacts and Lync presence on the VVX500.

On the telephone, I can see that I can search for Lync and then add the contact to my Lync contacts. On my PC Lync client, I can see that the Lync contact gets added to the 'Other Contacts' group. Unfortunately, this group does not get displayed on the VVX telephone. Only Lync contacts in the 'Favorites' group on the Lync PC client get displayed on the telephone.

Is there any way to force the VVX so that when a new Lync contact is added on the VVX that the contact can be placed in the 'Favorites' group automatically so that the contact with presence can be displayed on the VVX?

Regards - Patrick

Hello Patrick,

our current software only displays the contacts that are added to the favorites via the LYNC client.

A change to this would require a feature request. Your reseller needs to work with your Polycom Sales engineer for this.

That way they can also share the future roadmap.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
