Hi

When using the screen saver on the VVX500 it doesnt display the idle brower as set in the config, instead it shows pictures of scenery which I presume come pre loaded on the phone.

config consists of:

  <mb>
    <mb.idleDisplay.home mb.idleDisplay.home="%VVX500_IDLE_DISPLAY_URL%" /> (broadsoft tag) value =                  http:/provisioning.server/image.jpeg
    <mb.idleDisplay.refresh mb.idleDisplay.refresh="%IDLE_DISPLAY_REFRESH%" /> (broadsoft tag) value = 5mins
  </mb>

and

<up>
    <up.idleBrowser.enabled up.idleBrowser.enabled="%IDLE_BROWSER_ENABLE%" />            bs tag = 1
    <up.screenSaver.enabled up.screenSaver.enabled="%SCREEN_SAVER_ENABLE%" />         bs tag = 1
    <up.screenSaver.type up.screenSaver.type="2" />
    <up.screenSaver.waitTime up.screenSaver.waitTime="%SCREEN_SAVER_WAIT%" />            bs tag = 5

</up>

UC Software Version 4.1.5.3284

as you can see in the config the type is set to 2 which is the idle browser.

In the logs it shows:

1219141002|pgui |2|00|next image to load = 0, current image = 1
1219141002|pgui |2|00|unloaded full screen for /ffs0/.phone.d/root/Skins/common/normalssimages/SSImage2.jpg

Is there anything I am missing in the configuration in order to display the jpeg located on the provisioning server instead of inbuilt images?

I did notice in the admin guide "up.prioritizeBackground.enable" will I need to include this in the config and set to 1??

Many thanks

Dave

Hello James,

I believe this was addressed in UCS 4.1.6 and UCS 5.0.0

I suggest you set the same log levels as the original poster and verif that the configuration is correct.

If this is still an issue after this please raise this via your Polcyom reseller and quote VOIP-87747 and VOIP-86829.
