Hi there,

We have a client who claims that their old ITSP configured the two receptionist phones in a 'mirrored' way.

The feature they claim, that I can't replicate, was putting a call on Hold/Park on one phone an then visually seeing it on the other phone and be able to pickup the call. Similar to how you'd put calls on Hold and visually have the list of call(s) on Hold and pickup the desired call by simply clicking on it, which works fine on a single phone. Except that they want the same between two phisical VVX 500 phones.

Call Park by parking lot works, but they don't like the fact that you can't see which call you want to resume since there's no visual CallerID info.

Is it doable? Thanks.

Phone Information
Phone Model VVX 500
Part Number 3111-44500-001 Rev:A
UC Software Version 5.5.0.20556
Updater Version 5.7.0.18267

Hi Steffen,

The call server is an Asterisk 13, FreePBX GUI.

Thanks.
