We currently have SoundPoint IP670 phones.  We received some new phones and they are VVX 600s.   On the 670 phones I can login into the Polycom Web Utility and assign Speed Dials under Utilities/Line Key Configuration/Add Line Key Function.  On the VVX 600s the Speed Dial option is not there, just Line Registration and Static BLF which is greyed out (and always was).  We have Comcast service and I haven't figured out how to access their server to change it.  Does anyone know how I can enable the Speed Dial option?  Programming the phones in the office one by one without the Web Uitility is way too time consuming.

Hello oroscogroup,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The VVX Platform does not support this at present.

The easiest way would be to use LDAP or similar to share a central phonebook. An alternative is to use the 000000000000-directory from factory default to pre-populate phones with general numbers.

 

Individual numbers could be added by creating a <MAC>-directory.xml
