VVX 601 Defaults to Headset

At one point a user had a headset associated with a phone.  Then, all of the sudden the phone wants to default always to the headset when you press the speakerphone button.  You press the speakerphone button, it flashes and goes right back to the headset green light.


If you lift the handset off hook, that works fine.  Only the speakerphone buttons reverts and goes to the headset.


Factory reset the phone, deleted all config files off the server it might see.


Can't stop the phone from always using the headset, when no headset exists.


VVX 601 with 5.6.0 firmware.

Hello techlogic,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.


This is a support issue.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you. End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.

Thought the reseller was authorized.  I called them and they want me to send it back so they can look at it for themselves.
