Hi

 

Is anyone able to explain how the Polycom VVX phones request a new version of bootrom if it is not specified in the config files?

Hello Dave,

if you open the original 0000000000.cfg you will find that none of these files contain any reference to the BootROM.

 

The phone loads these automatically if a phone requires these.
