Good Afternoon,
Interesting problem here, thought maybe if someone has seen this before they may know the answer.
We have a VVX 400 on our customer's site, with a VVX Color Expansion module. Everything works fine, but every couple of days, the BLFs will all turn off (I think I have the correct word). The module will still work, and can still transfer calls using it, but the LEDs are all completely off (not red or green, just off).
Rebooting the phone turns the lights back on.
What does this sound like? It's difficult to trouble shoot since we're not on site.
The color expansion is powered via PoE.
Thanks for any and all help!

Hello RJ_OneVoice,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.
Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

Okay - thanks - I will try to find a way to get the Software version. It's not easy, as I mentioned because we're not phsyically on site.
Thank you though.
We ordered a replacement phone at our office, and I was able to get the required information from it.
This phone is doing the same thing. The indicators on the LCD display if a user is available/on a call - but the LED indicators are all blank. Except for the Page indicator on the Expansion Module.
SIP/UCS: 4.1.6.4835
Part: VVX 400
Boot ROM: 5.1.6.3978
EM1 Type: LCD
Version: .07
Assembly: 3111-46350-001 Rev:A
Thank you
Hello RJ_OneVoice,
Are you using BLF or Buddy Watch ?
Both are described in the FAQ.
If buddy watch the LED's will not work as they only work with BLF.
