Hi!
Is it possible to use an custom XML Directory Filename with VVX Phones?
I.E.: macadress-customdir.xml
Background is that our phonesystem populates the default xml files (macadress-directory.xml) with data we don't want.
So we'd like to use our custom filename.

Hello Martin,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
If your call Platform drops these into the root directory you could use the 00000000000.cfg or the <mac>.cfg and specify a sub directory in the CONTACTS_DIRECTORY="" section to tell the phone to ignore the ones in the root directory.

Thanks, worked like a charme.
<APPLICATION APP_FILE_PATH="sip.ld" CONFIG_FILES="polycom-[MACADDRESS].cfg" MISC_FILES="" LOG_FILE_DIRECTORY="" OVERRIDES_DIRECTORY="" CONTACTS_DIRECTORY="[MACADDRESS]-customdir.xml" LICENSE_DIRECTORY="">
Just one further question: Does the phone only sync when rebootet? Can I somehow let the phone sync in intervals?
Thanks
regards
