VVX Extension: choose the keys

Hello there,


I would like to know if we could choose the position in the VVX extension module?


My first test indicate that, depsite what I wrot in the cfg file on my tftp, it's always the first free position that would be used...




  1. I had an extension without ANY shortcut
  2. I would like to put a shortcut to Alice at position 17
  3. I wrote in my cfg file:
    attendant.resourceList.17.label="Alice InChains"
  4. I Reboot
  5. Alice is at position 1...

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.
