If I have multiple registrations on a VVX 400, how can I specify that a given speed dial should dial out on line 2? It always dials out on line 1.

If the speed dial is for an extension that is part of the line 2 registeration, the call will fail because it's attempting to dial out on line 1.

Any ideas here? I just need to make speed dials be line specific for phones with multiple sip registrations.

Hello yhvoipguy,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Just a quick reminder that this is not a replacement for our support infrastructure and if urgent support or answers are needed your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support directly should be contacted.

To my knowledge our current speed dial infrastructure does not allow to pre-select a line and neither does pressing a line and then pressing the speed dial use the chosen line.

The only idea that I could think of would be utilizing the microbrowser of the phone and hosting a web page with embedded selection of the Line in question and then the number.

Have a look at the development section => here <= and get the SDK from => here <=

Thanks, I guess it's impossible then.  The other solution involves more steps than dialing the extension would!
