Hi,

The VVX phone, running 5.0.0 have the voicemail light flashing when there is no new voicemails .

The pattern MIGHT be that when the screen is dark and there is a missed call recorded, it flashes.  My end-users find this supremely annoying as they want to know whether they have a vm or not, not whether they simply missed a call.

Is this configurable behavior? I do not want to turn off the whole missed calls feature, but simply to not make the light flash when there is one.

Or did I get the pattern wrong and it flashes for another reason?

Hello mgaudette,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Can I first remind you to ensure you are actually following up your old post's so other users do know if solutions provided have actually helped you.

The same discussion was already started => here <=

The Parameters are:

ind.pattern.powerSaving.step.1.state.VVX310="0"
ind.pattern.powerSaving.step.1.state.VVX300="0"
ind.pattern.powerSaving.step.1.state.VVX410="0"
ind.pattern.powerSaving.step.1.state.VVX400="0"
ind.pattern.powerSaving.step.1.state.VVX500="0"
ind.pattern.powerSaving.step.1.state.VVX600="0"

 I have not tested this against a VVX but the idea behind the LED is to show the user that the phone is still up and running even if the display is turned off / dimmed.

That turned off the blank screen function perfectly. Thank you.
