Hi,

 

This is my first post here. I recently purchased a couple of VVX300 for my small company and I am having an issue where the phones won't get an IP address from the router when connected on a Cisco SG100D-08 v2 switch. If I connect the phone to the router directly, it gets the IP and works without issue. The VVX300 doesn't detect the access point when connected on the switch.

Computers and a Polycom IP 335 plugged on the same switch obtain their IP and work just fine. The DHCP pool has more than enough free IPs left.

 

Did anyone ever encounter a similar issue with these phones?

You would require a wireshark trace in order to check what the switch responds to the Phones BOOTP request.
