Hi,

We configured multiple lines on VVX300 phones, when the phone receives multiple calls, we want to be able to answer to one of the call and ingnore another. It works when we answer with speaker phone, but when we pickup the handset, both calls are answered, one of the call is connected and another is put on hold. How to avoid this?

It was working fine with IP430 model.

Hello licedey,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Did you have a chance to follow up your last issue with your Polycom reseller as discussed => here <=

For your new issue it is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

Please also include if you are using a SIP server or a LYNC server

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

The above is also stated in the "Read First: Welcome to the Polycom VoIP Forum"

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Jan 22, 2014 Question: How can I prevent the phone from automatically accessing a line when the Handset is lifted?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above could be utilized as it stops accessing a line when the handset is lifted.

You may also want to look at this FAQ post here:

May 28, 2015 Question: Can I change the way an inbound call is presented on the screen of a VVX phone?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Hi,

I was using the latest bootrom and VVX firmware 5.4.0.10182 (5.4.0 Rev A).

Regarding the previous issue, we escalated the issue to Polycom support and we were informed that limitation on number of buddy watch was imposed on purpose, because it was causing the issue.

With best regards,

Alisher

Hi

We are using Asterisk PBX.

I tried with both options, up.osdIncomingCall.Enabled="0" and up.offHookAction.none="1".

It works when multiple calls, but when a single call is received, users are forced to press a line button, not same as on IP450.

Is there way to replicate the behavior of IP450?

With best regards,

Alisher

I have downgraded the firmware and tried several version and works on old firmware as expected.

- 4.1.8 works ok

- 5.1.3 works ok

- 5.2.0 and 5.2.4 works ok

- 5.3.1 doens't work

- 5.4.0 doesn't work.

I think it's a bug, that was introduced starting from 5.3.X firmware.
