Hi,

To have per phone contact directory I understood we need to make <MACaddress>-directory.xml on provisioning server.

And I found phone download and update internal directory when it's restarted.  Is there another way to retreive <MACaddress>-directory.xml without phone restart.  Phone reset or restart is a only way to get an updated directory file from provisioning server ?

Please kindly advise some one has good idea.

Hi Yoji

Have you tried the update config at all?

Menu>Settings>Basic>Update Configuration

Not saying this will work but it will make the phone request any new config so may be worth a try...

Hope this helps

Cheers

Dave

Hello Yoji Ishii,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The Directory is only downloaded when the phone boots and there is no way to do this dynamically during the day without rebooting the phone.

I would suggest you look at LDAP as a directory instead.
