I am seeing the following errors in our logs since the upgrade to firmware 5.1.1

0826102436|so |5|00|soStreamNetDisc ERROR - Cannot close local RTP port
0826102436|so |5|00|soStreamNetDisc ERROR - Cannot close local RTCP port

Users are complaining of failed transfers and random reboots. Could this be related and also what is the exact nature of these errors.

Hello all,

like with any other support related issues this needs to be raised via your Polycom reseller to be brought to the attention of Polycom support.

We need the following:

  • Unfiltered Wireshark trace from a spanned port on the phone end
  • Phone App & Boot logs
  • Backup of the Phone configuration

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
