Hi,

We use VVX400-series for ourselves and our customers. We have BLF and speeddials configured on the phones.

When a call comes in and I want to transfer it, all of the line-keys (and hence, speeddials and BLF) disappear when I press the transfer softkey.

I can use the keys when placing a new call, or when I put a call on hold.

Anyone any idea?

I have tried with version 4.1.2 and 5.0.1 of the software...

Hello pcools,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

To my knowledge the VVX400/410 range was introduced with Software Version UCS 4.1.4.

I had actually reported this lack to be able to return to the home screen internally and this was addressed in the latest UCS 4.1.6

In a call after pressing transfer you are now presented with:

If you select the Lines soft key you are presented with the home screen:

The highlighted item represents a speed dial for example. In addition you will be able to see your BLF's etc.

The Bug was tracked within the latest release notes as:

  • 88954 BLF functionality has been optimized to use transfer and conference functionalities for BLF contacts.

Please check future release notes when new software releases are provided.

Hello Steffen,

Thanks for your reply! Installing 4.1.6 did the trick.

Some phones were already on 5.0.1, but it seems that version also has bugs...
