Greetings,

I just applied the latest firmware for testing purposes. (5.4.2.2834)

There is a new Callers softkey by default. Firstly, is there a way to disable it?

Secondly, when you press the button, it appears to simply open the Recent Call list like you would find in the Directories menu under settings, but the problem is that it has no formatting and looks really terrible.

If i go into Recent Calls under directories, i get the same information, but it is formatted properly.

Not a huge issue, just wanted to make you aware. I have included a screenshot

SIP, No expansion modules. No changes in the previous environment other than the firmware update.

It appears immediately after the phone boots. Its just a button called Callers.

See screenshot

edit: the button does not exist in the 5.3.x firmware branch

Hello TylerCMS

well you are not using a vanilla config as a simply factory reset and 1 sip line registered phone does not show this key.

Need more details from your end.

I found the offending configuration value.

<softkey.feature

         softkey.feature.callers="1 >

</softkey.feature>

Changed it to 0 and it took the softkey away. But I am wondering if you can reproduce by adding that option?

Hello TylerCMS

Again I only had a brief look but the softkey.feature.callers has been there since at least UC Software 3.2.2 and is usually disabled.

I am not sure what it is doing in your configuration and why you have not spotted it earlier causing the Softkey to appear but I assume once you set it back to factory default the offending key is no longer the source of trouble.

Yes, I was able to remove the button, that is no longer an issue. But i am still curious about the formatting issue with the menu while using the button.

Are you able to reproduce that?
