Hello - I saw on this thread (http://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP/VVX-411-vs-VVX410-VVX501-vs-VV500/td-p/80921) that in January Polycom was talking about VVX411 replacing the VVX410 (which would no longer be avaliable for purchase). Can you please provide some additional information about that EOL? We go through a VoIP service provider for our Polycom phones, and I'm curious to know if they most likely don't have stock of VVX410's themselves and will be moving to VVX411's and how that might affect cost.
Hello JPPT,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
EOL means end of life and we announce this officially once the product is ready to be retired for whatever reason.
The devices are available and in stock until this is officially announced and to my knowledge the VVX401 or VVX411 have the same price as the VVX400 and VVX410.
I also just added this to the VoIP FAQ:
Mar 23, 2016 Question: Where can I find details about End of Life and/or End of Support?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
