Hi,

I have looked through the boards and don't see an answer or similar issue brought up. But if I missed it excuse me and I would appreciate the help.

I have the DCP working but when I enter "#" which is what I have the Feature Code set to the BLF keys are gone and I have to enter the extension #. How do I set the BLF keys to stay visable and allow me to simply select the line that is ringing. On the IP550 I believe this worked. The reason I changed the Feature Code is because its awkward to get ** because of the way the "*" also selects "+". If that has something to do with it I can change it back.

If there is another way to accomplish this I am open for suggestions.

Clay

Hello @clayh,

Have you added # to your local digitmap ?

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Phone unable to Dial a number when Off Hook or on 2nd Call in a Conference or Digitmap issues

Resolution: Please check => here <=

In addition why not simply press the BLF itself to pickup?

Nov 4, 2011 Question: How can I setup a Busy Lamp Field / BLF with an Digium Asterisk SIP Server?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The # key is just a normal key like a number so the phone assumes you want to dial somewhere.

Did you configure the Directed Call Pickup Parameters ?

Steffen,

That solution is the same idea but doesn't solve my issue. I wasn't very clear in explaining what I am seeing. Let me try again.

1. Phone at idle and incoming call showing up on a BLF monitored line. I can see the green blinking light next to the BLF key showing the extension name.

2. When I press the "#" key to initiate a Direct Call Pickup all the BLF keys disappear and I am left with just a blinking button.

Goal: When "#" is pushed I would like the BLF keys to remain so I can see the extensions.

Thank you again for the help.
