We have bought a VVX500 because the following site told us that it is Qualified for Lync 2013:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dn788944.aspx

Because the phone doesn't have a camera we also bought the VVX Camera because the datasheet told us that Video calling interoperability is supported for Polycom VVX 500 and for Microsoft Lync Enabled Clients.

We thought we're good to go, but were very disappointed to read on this forum that the phone combined with the camera doesn't support Video with Lync 2013. Despite both are qualified for Lync 2013.

We would like to know if and when Video support for Lync 2013 is planned.

Hello Naber,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I can verify that the VVX phones in conjunction with the Camera the only supported platform for Video Calls with a LYNC 2010 client.

I am unable to provide any statement in regards of LYNC 2013 and can only recommend that you contact your Polycom reseller so they can get you in touch with a Polycom sales engineer.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
