Hello,

Does the VVX500 automatically select codec?  I went into:

Home -> Settings -> Status -> Diagnostics -> Media Statistics

Everytime my phone reboots, it has different codecs for Tx and Rx.  Is this normal?

Shawn

Hello Shawn,

The order of the Codec's offered to the far end can usually be changed / viewed in the Web Interface or via a configuration file..

The codec that is being used in a call is negotiated between the caller's INVITE and the called 200 OK.
