Hello Jack,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

This has already been discussed on various other post's and you should be able to find these via the community search.

The correct way forward is to raise a case with Polycom support via your Polycom reseller so Polycom support can verify that this is similar to previous reported issues and target this accordingly.

Please be aware of the following when utilizing UCS 4.1.0 or later:

The use of Polycom UC Software versions 4.1.X (“Software”) requires the purchase of a separate Software license for every device that will use the Software in a Lync environment.

You may not install, access, or use the Software in a Lync environment on more devices than are listed on your license until additional licenses have been purchased and authorized by Polycom.

These licenses should be purchased from the same company from which you purchased the devices.

You may operate devices against a Lync server for trial purposes for up to 30 days without purchasing a license.

Use of the Software is subject to the terms and conditions of the End User License Agreement.

Polycom reserves the right to audit your deployment to verify that you have sufficient licenses to match the number of devices being used.

Information in regards of License Part Numbers can be found here

Jack,

I only have this issue, no ringback on conference calls to PSTN users.  I have the same setup as you, VVX 600 UCS 5.0.2 paired with Lync 2013.  Is there no ringback for all numbers you dial or just to PSTN users?

HP Recommended

I  have the same issue (only 1 ring) with PSTN calls.

Hello all,

as outlined above already this needs to be brought to the attention of Polycom support.

When doing so, as explained above , to provide physical proof of the per LYNC license.

If your GW is an AudioCode, try the following.

    1. Under Sip Definitions, General Parameters, Play Ringback Tone to Tel, set to Play Local Until Remote Media Arrives

HP Recommended

Does this work?

1) Dialed an external number from the speaker , pick up the handset after 3 -5 seconds, do you hear a ringback?

2) Dialed an external number from the handset, switch to speaker after 3-5 seconds, do you hear a ringback?

I hear a ringback if I switch from speaker to handset and vice versa.

I found a solution by applying these 2 settings to my AudioCode M1K.

1) Set Enable Early Media = Disable

2) Set 183 Message Behavior = Alert
