Ik look likes there a problem with Bluetooth on UC 5.8.0.12386

 

After the upgrade of my VVX600 i paired the Jabra Evolve 75 again (Latest firmware)

2/3 times a day the headset looses connection with the VVX600. Disable/enable bluetooth isnt working, reconnect is also not working. I need to reboot the VVX to work with the headset again. 

 

Also is the bluetooth quality very poor. I hear little beeps when i'm on a call. Battery is good.

Sometimes when i want to take or close a call ik takes a few seconds before the VVX response.

 

When i use the Jabra Bluetooth Dongel delivered with the headset, (VVX see a digital headset) everything is working perfect.

 

Anyone else have problems?

I didnt tried a downgrade yet. I can't remember any problems with 5.7.x

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Are you the only user of a Jabra in your office or are there a lot of these in the same area?

 

The reason I ask as I worked on a similar case with no real solution as of yet. Please work with your Provider Siphon to get this into support and use EN-86487 / 1-8873970309 as a reference.

Ok, i'm the only one with the vvx600 and the Jabra headset, send a ticket to Siphon asap

Hi Arjan,

same problem here. Using VVX601 with actual firmware and evolve 75. The headset works fine with the jabra 370 dongle and also with the laptop inbuild-bluetooth, but if i´m using the vvx-bluetooth, the headset is loosing connection sometimes. Another handicap:  if i switch the headset off/on the connection to the laptop-bluetooth re-connects immediately, but i have to reboot the vvx to establish the connection to VVX601

If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know if an answer or advice provided was useful and has maybe helped you.

 

For your new issue I can only give you the same advise as given to @Arjan Onderwater

 

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

End Customers are unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.

If the unit is no longer within warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here

Hi Steffen,

 

Bluetooth with Jabra link 370 and Evolve 75 is working with the VVX, but it works not correctly.

EHS-function is not working faultless. On-hook works, but Off-hook not.

( I checked all EHS-modes )

But the VVX build-in-Bluetooth works fine with the Evolve, with the exception, that the bluetooth-connection sometimes gets lost. After a connection loss i have to reset the phone to reconnect the headset.

(By the way: At the moment i´m running SW 5.6.2.1593, because i don´t want to miss PDC 🙂 

Is there the intention by Polycom to update PDC, so that we can use it with actual firmware? )

I am not aware of any current EHS issues with Jabra so this may need to come into support.

 

For PDC we released a new Version which is compatible with UC Software 5.7.x or later => here <=
